Wild Alberta Hub at the Calgary Zoo​

​

Calgary Wildlife is excited to visit the Wild Alberta Hub at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, a summer learning space that celebrates Alberta’s incredible wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation stories.

​

Included with the price of zoo admission, the Wild Alberta Hub gives visitors a chance to learn more about the animals and landscapes that make our province wild. Stop by to meet Calgary Wildlife at the lawn across from the muskox, try a hands-on activity, and discover simple ways to coexist with the wild neighbours who share our city.

VegFest â€‹

Calgary Wildlife is heading to Calgary VegFest 2026 for a day of delicious food, community connections, and conversations about creating a kinder, more sustainable city for people and animals. The family-friendly festival will feature plant-based food and food trucks, live entertainment, local vendors, speakers, and activities for longtime vegans, the plant-curious, and everyone in between.

​

Stop by to learn more about Calgary’s wild neighbours, the work Calgary Wildlife does to care for injured and orphaned wildlife, and the simple ways we can all help wild animals in our communities.

Alberta Biodiversity Festival at the Calgary Zoo​

Calgary Wildlife is excited to be part of the Alberta Biodiversity Festival at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, a family-friendly celebration of the incredible wildlife, plants, and ecosystems that make our province so special.​ Included with daily zoo admission, this festival brings together community organizations, conservation partners, and interactive booths throughout the zoo, giving visitors the chance to learn, explore, and connect with Alberta’s biodiversity in many different ways.

​

Stop by the Calgary Wildlife booth to discover more about the wild animals who share our communities, how we help injured and orphaned wildlife, and the simple steps we can all take to be champions for local wildlife conservation.

Bow Habitat Station

Calgary Wildlife is excited to be part of the Alberta Biodiversity Festival at the Bow Habitat Station & Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery), a family-friendly celebration of the incredible wildlife, plants, and ecosystems that make our province so special.

​

Included with admission to Bow Habitat Station, this festival brings together community organizations, conservation partners, and interactive booths at the center, giving visitors the chance to learn, explore, and connect with Alberta’s biodiversity in many different ways.

Farmers and Makers Market @ cSPACE​

This summer, join Calgary Wildlife at the Farmers & Makers Market at cSPACE Marda Loop! We’ll be there on select Saturdays alongside local farmers, makers, artists, and food vendors with wildlife-themed merchandise, hands-on education activities, and simple tips for living peacefully with Calgary’s wild neighbours. Stop by to say hello, test your wildlife knowledge, and shop in support of injured and orphaned wildlife. See you there! 💚
