About the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society

The Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (CWRS) is a non-profit charitable organization that rescues and rehabilitates wild animals in the Calgary, Alberta region.

Imagine...

An owl is caught in barbed wire…

A cougar is struck, orphaning kittens…
An eagle hits a power line…

A fawn is found and taken home…

We have all had the distressing experience of encountering injured or orphaned wildlife, at the roadside, in our parks, or even in our own backyard.

The Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (CWRS) was established to provide professional care and facilities for wildlife rehabilitation. The CWRS is dedicated to treating injured and orphaned wildlife, providing valuable outreach and education services to the community, and engaging all volunteers in motivational work and skill building experience.
